The American Jewish World Service (AJWS) is supported by all SAEPi chapters and colonies. AJWS was chosen for its Jewish roots, the focus on girls and women, and the breadth of their projects. With the Jewish commitment to justice, AJWS works to realize human rights and end poverty in the developing world. The issues AJWS focuses on are civil and political rights, land and water rights, sexual health and rights, ending child marriage, and disaster response. Chapters and colonies work hard each semester to put on events to raise money for this organization.

At the University of Minnesota, we also support the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis (JFCS). JFCS "provides services to people of all ages and backgrounds to sustain healthy relationships, ease suffering, and offer support in times of need. [They] provide senior services, career services, children and family services, community engagement, and counseling and mental health support." JFCS is motivated by a central Jewish value, tikkun olam, repairing the world one person at a time.
